Qigong and the 5 elements

Visual Storyteller

It’s always exciting when small businesses, small groups of families or friends come to me and ask me to show during visual storytelling what they’re working on together. They are always characterized by passion, genuine enthusiasm and deep commitment in the way they serve with their business.

Clara is a nutritionist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Gabor is a Qigong master. The two of them make a wonderful pair and do value-creating work. They have serious and unique knowledge and it was really great to spent a day in their company. It was an enriching meeting for me too, I warmly recommend them, take a look at their website.

Clara’s opinion about our common work:

“We were looking for a photographer, because we wanted images that truly capture our everyday life and our daily tasks and activities for our website and social media platforms. We wanted natural pictures. We didn’t specifically want set pictures, but pictures of life.

Mea created a fantastic atmosphere at the photo shoot – and she achieved this by not demanding anything from us, but simply following what we were doing. So we quickly got rid of the strange feeling that a camera was staring at us. She followed us almost invisibly, and with this, on the pictures we recognise the true ourselves while cooking, walking in the forest, collecting herbs, doing qigong, and drinking tea. Without any poses, just naturally. And that was our goal!

Besides, I woke up very exhausted in the morning after a tiring week, and I wasn’t really in the mood for it all. I was a little sorry that we didn’t schedule this photo shoot for a quieter period. Then, by the end of the photo shoot, I noticed that I wasn’t even tired! But indeed: we had tea together in a good mood, and I was completely recharged after the day spent with Mea.

Thank you very much for the beautiful photos, the great atmosphere and the valuable conversation!”
