‘Connecting’
The Focus on the Story Portrait Awards 2021. photo competition has lined up fantastic winners. It fills me with great pride that out of 700 international entrants, I was included in the final thirty-five with my portrait of Lőrincz Szamaras, which you can see in my portfolio, and in the Top10, among the eight outstanding photos of the “Honorable Mention” selection with this picture!
The story behind the photo:
When I entered the room and saw a situation that must be familiar to parents who work from home. For home office fathers and mothers… My husband immersed in work, trying to solve the deadline and the connection with his son – I immediately took the camera that is always close at hand. The moment, the meeting of reality and fairy tale: that was a gift. A few photos were taken before this scene, but as the frames of the film progressed and I saw the “mirror image”, how they look at each other, I knew that THE PICTURE was now born.
